I love this!

I work part time in a teacher’s store…. gotta put my sweet daughter through college!  Today this come in a shipment from Learning Resources.  It is a magnetic spinner for your white board… It comes as a pencil, finger or a spinner.  Wow a center for your white board…. hmmmm So many possibilities so little time!  Doesn’t it get your creative juices flowing?  How would you use it?

How fun! Love your blog. What font is CAN DO KINDERS in your header? It's precious!

Too cool!

I'm thinking whole-group graphing when we introduce it in the fall this year... it could spin to different colors/foods/whatever and we could practice filling in the graph to see what will get the most!

Or it could be a math station like this frog game I found through Keen On Kindergarten. Just spin to see how many dry erase drawings you have to take away! My dry erase easel is magnetic and I know I have little magnetic pizzas I made somewhere.

Thanks for sharing! I look forward to getting to know you!

Thank you so much for your great comments and ideas! I Don't know the font Alicia from Dream Like Magic used. I have seen a similar one at Lettering Delights.

I used them to teach probability to my second graders. They drew circles, spun, recorded tallies, and graphed. They loved being able to say more likely, equally likely, and less likely.
