The 11th Day... A Gift!

I am teaming up with TBA to bring you 25 days of gifts!  Everyone loves a gift!  I am so excited.... what could it be?  Want to sneak a peek????  No fruit cake here.. sorry fruit cake lovers!

Here is a CVC writing activity.  One of my teacher friends asked me to please include my first grade friends so I also made a CVCe activity for you!
Just laminate and use in a small group or literacy station.  Also, it is flexible enough for you to use as a Write the Room.  The children just use the numbers on the picture to match to the recording sheet.  Graphics from DJ Inkers.

Thank all of you for coming to my blog and supporting me!  So many of you have gone to Teacher's Notebook and made my store a favorite.  You have taken your valuable time for me and I appreciate ya'll so much!  Thank you!

If you bought a product of mine, would you go back in and rate it?  Someone who did not know how to download their products from Teacher's Notebook left a sad rating for me :(  and I hope to get my rating up.  If you didn't like the activities... you don't have to rate them.... LOL  just kiddin'!  However, it helps me to know what you like and how to make more activities similar to those! Just click here to go to my store.  Oh... and I am working on some more stuff to go there.  I am excited about these products!

Now I am asking that you vote in Edublogs Awards for the best blogs!
These blogs are up for awards and we want to show them our support so please take a moment to vote for them!

Let's Work on Positional Words!

I couldn't help but make another book with these adorable graphics from scrappin doodles.  This week you can get 15% off clip art from scrappin doodles by using the code SEPTEMBER2011 .  You can click on the scrappin doodles button on the right hand side of my blog to go there.  I love Denyse's creations!
Next week I wanted to begin using positional word vocabulary with my kinders.  I made this adorable book to share with my team and decided to share it with you too. The vocabulary comes straight from the math common core standards.
I am going to cut the book apart. It is easy if you run the copies, staple on the side then cut. There are 2 of the same pages on 1 page. So, you can get 2 books from 1 complete copy. In other words if you run 10 copies you get 20 little books.  (I am trying to save paper and copies! We only get a few copies each month at our school)  Then, tape the crow to the end of a piece of yarn and the other end of the yarn to the book. The children will be able to manipulate the crow on each page to match the positional word.  Did this make sense?  I think I might be a little tired tonight... it has been one of those weeks!
Click on the picture above to download.  Hope you enjoy and I would love if you would consider following me or if you could let me know if you will use it in your classroom with a comment below!   Thank you!
