Measuring With Fido

Hi my blogging buddies!  This is Fido!  Isn't he adorable?  This year he is going to help my kinders with measuring.   Usually I don't start measuring until the end of the year, but this year I want to start earlier.  I am going to make this into a 6 page book... laminate, then bind on the side.  I like for my kinders to keep all their stuff together, so making it into a book may help to keep them more organized.  However, you can use it for what works best for you and your students.   The last page is a recording sheet.... sorry it's in color, but just set your printer to print in gray scale.  I will modify the recording sheet later for differentiation. I think you can use many different objects to measure .... I think I'm going to use pennies.
Please let me know if you find any mistakes.  I cut my finger today and have a butterfly bandage on it.... makes it hard to type. Don't you hate finger cuts?  If you download to use, please leave me a comment and think about following me if you haven't already!  I heart comments!  Click on Fido to download!  Happy measuring!

Thank you so much for the freebie! I am loving your blog! Just a thought for Fido...would it be possible to have his name and the directions placed in title case so our students can continue to know that the beginning of a sentence and names start with an uppercase letter? Just a thought. Thanks again! :)
