Fall Freebies for You!

Isn't this scarecrow adorable?  This is a graphic from Scrapppin Doodles!  Love!  I was inspired to make a few things for my guided reading groups with him and some other fall clip art.   First, my children need more help with beginning sounds... so I put together a fall picture/beginning letter sound match.  I made the words to match the fall pictures too.  We are working on syllables, so I can use the pictures for the children to sort syllables too.  I will laminate all the activities and then place them in a pocket chart to work with a small guided reading group. Below you can see a sample of the lesson.

I wanted to share this with you tonight..... Please think about following me if you download and leave a comment if you like!  You can get your copy here.  Stay tuned because I am working on a couple of books that I will have for you tomorrow to go along with this lesson!

I am a single parent kindergarten teacher and I an so very thankful for all the freebie things you post. I don't have lots of extra money to buy packages, but I sure do LOVE that are willing to help out fellow teachers with all your freebies. adeal@lincoln.k12.nc.us
