Math Write the Room

Happy Weekend!  I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!  I slept in this morning and it was great!  No alarm clocks!:)
Several of you have emailed and asked if I would make a valentine's write the room.  My kinders are working on putting sets together... adding.  I thought this might be a fun station for them this week.
I will laminate and put the cards around the room.  Using their recording sheet, the children will look for the matching letter on the cards you have placed around the room.  They will count and fill in the numbers on their recording sheet and then record the sum of the 2 numbers.  I have not introduced the + and = signs yet, but I included a recording sheet for those of you that have.
I hope these directions are clear.... let me know if you need more details.
Fun and easy!
Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for sharing. I love this idea. I just finished my plans for the week but I'm thinking this might be perfect for a valentine's day center rotation.

Thank you for sharing! I like the number key on the recording sheet. Too many of my kinders are writing a few numbers backwards!
