Whew! It's Been a Long time!

Warning.... Long Post! :)
I have been sick my blogging friends.... I used to say I never get sick... I am immune to all the germs that fly around my kinder class.  Well, I have got to say for the last 3 weeks that is not the case.  From walking pneumonia, ear infections, upper respiratory infection:  I have had it!  I went back to the Dr. this past Tuesday for the 3rd time... left to go get more medicine!  But, today I am feeling so much better!  So I am back and with a  cuteeeeeee St. Patrick's Day Freebie.

First, thank you so to 2 bloggers that gave me this award!  I appreciate it so much!

Be sure to visit these 2 blogs and again thank you ladies so much! I appreciate it so much!

Have you heard?  Now we have to give permission for you to pin from blogs... So here is my permission for you and please pin away!  I love pinterest and I think it is another great way to find great ideas for our children!  All I ask you to do is link back to my blog if you pin from my site!  There is a little button on the right side of my blog if you would like to follow me on pinterest!

If you follow my blog, you know how much I love The Old Lady Series of Books by Lucille Colandro!  Scrappin Doodles came out with the graphics that go along with this book and I knew I would have to make a small book for one of my guided reading groups.  These books are so wonderful for retellings and that is something we continue to work on in the classroom! I included words and pictures for you pocket chart! Click on the Old Lady above to download!
This would be a great addition to Tammy's Old Lady Unit that she created and is at her TPT store! Check it out!

Thank you for hanging in there with me!
Don't you love this little graphic from MelonHeadz Illustrating ?

Click here to go to her blog!  http://www.melonheadzillustrating.blogspot.com/
More to come about this cute little old woman too!

I like you don't come down with all the garbage that the children bring in and for that I am very grateful. I have left 2 jobs for new ones with about 600 totals sick time hours I couldn't take with me :( Now I use my hours for my yearly doctor appts. Thanks for the cute story...my pre-k class will love it!

Glad you are back and thanks for allows us to Pin your goodies!

Put this out for my class today after we read the book. They just loved it and even chose to 'play' with it during free-choice centers. Now that makes it a genuine HIT. Thank you.
