Last year I bought these notebooks at Target for 10¢ each. Yaaayy!!!! In fact I bought so many I have enough for this year too. I love to use notebooks for writing and math journals. I had to put some love on them for my Kinders... So now I have these....
Writing Journals!!! So much better! I used Avery Internet Shipping Labels --5126. They come 2 to a sheet. I bought mine at Walmart for around $9 for 50 labels. Enough for my writing journals and math journals. Just peal and stick on the front of each notebook. At the top right hand corner, I plan to add another label with each child's name. I love labels! It saves a lot of time for me. I am sure you can still use these even if you decide against the labels..... Just cut and paste!

Love these! We usually just use legal size paper that I have folded in half and put just enough for a month of journals. I do this until January, when the school supplies us with lined journals. :) Thank you so much for sharing!

I was just looking at the Staples ad for next week and they have those notebooks for 1 cent each. Using your teacher identification you can get 25 instead of the limit of 6.

I love your label idea! I just make a cover page for my journals and staple the pages into a book. I make new ones each month so they don't get too big.
Your journal covers look great. I always buy the same notebooks and stock up for the next couple of years. This year I bought composition books at Staples for 10 cents, so I might mix it up a bit!
