Bunny Hop Freebie!

I am so excited to participate in TBA's fun bunny hop freebie!
Are your little hoppers tired yet?  I hope not because we're just getting started!
I have an "egg" stra surprise for you that I think you will love!

Chicks!  Aren't they adorable??!!!!   They are from Goodness and Fun graphics.
Please take a look at her shop on etsy..... so many cute things! Just click here to go there!

I have a story to share with you....if you promise not to call any animal rights groups on me!  Remember, I grew up in a very rural area and around farmers. :)

Here goes.... one Easter when I was around 4 years old... I got the cutest little pink chick for Easter.  Yeap... it was a live little pink chick!

Now, I took care of her until she grew into an adult hen and then I had to give it to my aunt who had chickens.  Was she still pink? Nope, she had lost her pink fluff and had white feathers.   And ... she grew up around her peers and laid eggs for us to eat! :)  My parents later told me they bought the pink chick from a farmer's supply store.    It is a great memory from my childhood!  Thank you for giving me the opportunity to share it with you!

Just curious... did you ever get anything unusual in your Easter basket that you want to share?  Leave a comment and tell me! I would love to hear about it.

I guess by now you're ready for my freebie.:)  My kinders need more help with numbers before and after.  I made this cute simple math station to help them.
Just laminate, cut and give them a dry erase marker to write the missing numbers!  Click here to download!  Hope you enjoy.
Click on the egg below to hop down the bunny trail to Brenda at Primary Inspired for you next freebie!

Loving your freebie :)

I remember one time spending Easter in Germany and Easter is really big over there we celebrated for several days and I had gifts each day. We built a nest out of moss for the Easter bunny.

Not a weird gift, just a fond memory :)

Had to delete first post because I put a wrong thing lol, oops! :)

Thanks for the freebie! One Easter I put a real baby bunny in my son's Easter basket. He was so surprised and I still love watching his expression in our home videos! He kept thinking it was a beanie baby (back during the beanie baby craze) and I was laughing so hard waiting for him to figure out it was real. Just a classic memory!

Thanks so much for the freebie!

My "Easter Bunny" would give me bags (that's right, bags) of black jellybeans. I loathe black jellybeans....oddly enough my Mom loved them.

I'm a country girl, too. ;)

We had turkeys, guineas, ducks, geese, and chickens one Easter. My mom bought two of each. My dad blew a gasket (according to her). They all died off because they couldn't survive together. The geese outlived everything else (I think they were the meanest) until a wild dog got them. The geese were my brother's pets and he was livid, so he shot the wild dogs with my mom telling him not to get the gun. He was only 12 or 13, crying like a baby over "Sally."

Cute as always!

Awww, a pink chick...that always makes me sad even though I know it doesn't hurt them. When they are soft, yellow, and fluffy is the only time chickens are cute!

Thank you for the cute *freebie*!
